June 26, 2013 - Wednesday

It's just another day in paradise.  My son cut the grass for me and I've been unable to go outside and look it over.  Its freaking humid and kinda hot so my ventures outside can only be completed if it involves air conditioning.  Oddly enough days like this I wish the people that can't understand what I feel every single day, just got a little taste of it.

Yesterday was my Grandmother's birthday, today is my aunt's and tomorrow is my Dad's.  I have to force myself to go out tomorrow and get an errand done post haste!

Goodnight Akron.

June 16th, 2013 - Tuesday

Its another crappy day in the world that is me.  We've gotten to that official level whereby the weather almost forces me in the house exclusively.  On top of all that fun there is the fact that I've been hacking and coughing for a few days now.

June 14th, 2013 - Friday

Its a good day in one fashion, its my daughters 16th birthday!  Its going to be a long one however, the weather will probably kick my arse.  I have some driving to do too so this is going to make me hurt.

Monday - June 10th, 2013

I went to a graduation party yesterday and the weather decided to open the skies and pour forth a deluge the likes of which was nothing like Noah's flood.  It got humid and I hit my arm multiple times.  I took my med's last night (the spot meds as I call them) and it looks like tonight will be no different.

The Fun Never Ends

I just realized how long ago I wrote on this blog, and I apologize!  I really want to use this as a forum to give a little update on my days, the good and the bad.  CRPS sucks eggs.  I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

The weather today is dreary and I keep struggling with trying to justify this freaking thing to everyone that doesn't want to believe this thing is real.  With CRPS life is more than just a tad difficult.

Goodnight, I'll try to say hello again tomorrow!

I'm Hurting

Yet another day of being miserable.  The pain not only hurts physically but mentally as well.  It gets harder and harder to not have my little mini-breakdowns and I find it harder to not take everything personally.  CRPS has taken so much from me but I will pull through, I will survive this thingy no matter how long it takes.

So CRPS to you I say......  Nah nah nah nah nah.

All kidding aside the weather is getting colder and my arm is trying to do everything it can to remind me every day about it.

Rain, Rain Go Away

Today is the absolute perfect day for me to explain one of the parts of CRPS that most people cannot understand, Rain.  CRPS has this affinity for making the most basic issue something beyond huge.  Nothing about this condition is friendly and one of the biggest issues for me is indeed the weather.

My left arm is afflicted with this condition (I think it has begun to creep up to my jaw now too) and the "interesting" part about this is how my arm feels when I am out in the elements whether it be hot or cold the arm responds with extreme pain.  The appendage swells and the pain level can become unbearable so most of my time is spent indoors and at this point in the program I'll explain that simple title of this post.

My arm and rain are not the best of friends and when I ran outside today to pick my children up from school, I had no idea how hard the rain truly was.  In a solid, hard rain each and every drop of rain feels like a nail has been driven into the arm.  Coupled with the sensitivity of temperature my arm feels as if I the entire arm has been ignited with gasoline and the worlds largest match as nails are driven into it.

This is a short post today, I hurt and I have to go outside again.
